How does the emissions reporting process work?
Once your emissions data is verified on the platform, reports are generated automatically in whichever format you need. You select the framework, your carbon expert reviews the output and flags anything that needs attention, and once you are satisfied it is ready, you publish or share it directly from your Impact page. There is no manual compilation or reformatting involved.
How long does it take to produce a compliance report?
For most businesses with a complete emissions dataset, generating a report takes minutes. The time involved is in the review stage, where your carbon expert checks the content, clarifies any methodology questions and makes sure the report meets submission requirements. For first-time reports or unfamiliar frameworks, allow time for that back and forth before any deadline.
What happens if my data changes after a report has been published?
Your reports are timestamped at the point of publication, so the record is preserved even if underlying data is updated later. If a material correction is needed, you can produce a revised version and republish. Your carbon expert can advise on whether a restatement is required and how to communicate it to the relevant audience.
Can I produce reports for more than one framework at the same time?
Yes. Because all reports draw from the same verified dataset, there is no duplication of effort when you need to report across multiple frameworks in the same period. Your emissions data is collected once and mapped to whichever formats are relevant to your business, whether that is a regulatory requirement, a procurement obligation or a voluntary certification.
