Environmental stewardship forms 1 of 5 'Impact Areas' that B Corps are scored against during the impact assessment. You'll be asked whether your business monitors greenhouse gas emissions, and what targets and policies you've put in place to reduce and offset emissions.

For many B Corps, the environment is identified as a key area for improvement as they look to recertify and improve their score.
